Why is it important to create a neuroinclusive workplace?

Approximately 15-20% of the U.S. population is neurodivergent. That is over 50 million people with great talents, abilities, and potential who can bring new ideas, strategies, and perspectives to the workplace. However, navigating the work environment can be difficult for neurodivergent employees which prevents them from using their abilities and talents. By creating a neuroinclusive workplace and offering effective accommodations, businesses increase their employees’ performance, productivity, and satisfaction while also gaining from employees’ unique contributions.
