Why is it important to create a neuroinclusive workplace?

At least 1 in 5 of the U.S. population is neurodivergent, bringing valuable strengths, creativity, and perspective to every industry. Yet, many neurodivergent employees face barriers at work, including challenges with communication, workplace culture, learning new tasks, completing assignments, managing schedules, and navigating physical environments.

When employers create inclusive environments with flexible practices, neurodivergent employees can work effectively and thrive. These efforts strengthen productivity, innovation, retention, and overall profitability across the organization.
